My Artist Voice: Painting Light in A World that Forgets It
Share
I paint not just what I see, but what I sense — the stillness between moments, the golden threads that tie us to memory, spirit, and story. My work is steeped in feminine symbolism, ethereal light, and deep emotional resonance. Each brushstroke is a quiet invitation back to beauty — not the surface kind, but something older, wiser, and more whole.
My journey began in photography. I spent years behind the lens, capturing everything from elegant interiors and gourmet food to international campaigns and conceptual portraits. But it was through painting that I truly found my voice — one not shaped by clients or deadlines, but by intuition, ritual, and reverence.
Today, I work primarily in oil on canvas, often incorporating glazes, symbolism, and gold leaf to create texture and depth. I’m inspired by mythology, nature, and the emotional language of light. I often return to recurring symbols — birds, moons, blossoms, sacred animals — each whispering something personal and universal at once.
My process is intuitive. I begin with a feeling. A flicker. A dream. And I let it guide me.
Some paintings are soft and nurturing. Others are bold and protective. All of them are offerings — of hope, healing, and light.
In this Studio Journal I’ll share the stories behind my paintings, glimpses of the creative process, and reflections on art as a form of soul work.
Whether you are a collector, a fellow artist, or simply someone drawn to beauty — welcome.
You were never meant to forget the light.
And neither was I.
